An electrifying duel between two NBA superstars unfolded at Target Center on Friday night, with the outcome decided in a dramatic fourth-quarter showcase.
Victor Wembanyama delivered a towering performance, sinking a series of difficult jumpers to finish with 37 points and 15 rebounds, propelling the Spurs to a 115-108 victory in Game 3. The French phenom erupted for 16 points in the final quarter alone, helping San Antonio seize a 2-1 series advantage. Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday at Target Center.
Anthony Edwards also put on a show, recording 32 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists over 40 minutes in what may have been his best playoff outing so far. However, Edwards struggled to shake free from San Antonio’s defense in the second half, limiting his ability to take over offensively during the critical stretch as Minnesota failed to sustain scoring runs.
The Timberwolves managed just 38% shooting from the field for the night.
